Agricultural Training Expert for Mixed Farming

**Job Overview**

Ntice Sourcing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Training Instructor to join our team in KwaZulu-Natal. As an experienced trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality agricultural skills training to learners enrolled in the National Certificate: Mixed Farming at NQF Level 2.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in facilitating training, especially agricultural training. They will also possess proficiency in English and IsiZulu, solid organizational skills, and excellent report writing skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Facilitate Unit Standards within the National Certificate: Mixed Farming at NQF Level 2, ensuring learner success and developing a love for agriculture.
  • Assess achievement of outcomes by all learners using various assessment methods and techniques.
  • Moderate Portfolios of Learning (PoEs) as allocated by the Manager.
  • Visit farms where learners are placed for workplace learning, assisting and supporting them in completing their PoEs.
  • Liaise with Mentors in various farms to obtain feedback on learners' progress and areas of concern.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Mixed Farming training materials.
  • Ensure proper administration and record keeping of all records related to learners.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of a three-year post-matric qualification in Agriculture, focusing on Plant or Animal Production or both.
  • Three years' experience in facilitating training, particularly agricultural training.
  • Proficiency in English and IsiZulu.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Excellent planning, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team.
  • An unendorsed driver's license.

**Additional Advantages**

  • Possession of an Assessor Certificate and Moderator Certificate.
  • Experience working in a farm.

**Estimated Salary Range**: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
