As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for the overall success of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

Stock Management:

  • Receiving and unpacking stock accurately to ensure timely replenishment of store shelves.
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels through regular stock counts and stock loss action plans.
  • Maintaining a well-organized stockroom, adhering to our housekeeping standards.
  • Authorizing write-offs, breakages, recalls, and cellular repairs.

Sales Growth and Profitability:

  • Analyzing sales and profitability reports to identify areas for improvement, collaborating with management to develop operational action plans.
  • Reviewing product performance and providing feedback to support center to enhance sales.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness, including in-store marketing and competitor analysis.

Risk Management:

  • Conducting compliance checks through regular audits and compliance reports, ensuring adherence to our policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Management:

  • Maintaining implementation of customer experience processes, including markdowns, repricing, and customer feedback.

Leadership and Development:

  • Leading and developing a team to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy.
  • Identifying and driving training, coaching, and development needs.
  • Recruiting, administering, and managing performance in accordance with our company policies.

Innovation:

  • Implementing innovation initiatives from Head Office to improve in-store processes and delight our customers.

Requirements:

  • NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • 3 years' experience in a store management position.
  • Sales and service management, budgeting, computer literacy, communication skills.
  • Retail trade, brand, customer service, cellular, mobile, new accounts, and insurance product understanding.
