Marketing and Public Relations Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Dante Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's marketing strategy, managing the marketing budget, and coordinating marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Management
- Develop the annual marketing plan through referencing the marketing strategy and identifying the key activities that are required for corporate, regional, and internal marketing.
- Develop the annual marketing budget for corporate and regional activities, adjusting the marketing plan as required.
- Implement the marketing plan through identifying and actioning the activities outlined in the marketing plan within the defined timeframes.
- Report on progress against the marketing plan through drafting monthly reports detailing the status of the defined activities.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing on a "bang for your buck" basis.
- Monitor and report on monthly marketing spend in line with the approved budget.
- Facilitate the process of service provider selection for execution of the marketing plan where strategy and budget allow, including writing briefs, managing the proposal process, service provider appointment, project management, and liaison, project completion, and debrief.
- Corporate Branding
- Fulfil the role of brand compass ensuring all corporate initiatives are brand aligned with the Company Values, Culture, and Corporate Identity.
- Manage compliance with the Company brand and corporate identity guidelines at all physical touchpoints, including printed documents, digital communication, office signage, and office interiors.
- Build the company brand through implementing multiple activities identified in the marketing plan, public relations, and communications, and internal brand awareness exercises, amongst others.
- Provide support to staff with relevant corporate identity issues as required.
- Customer Service
- Gather customer feedback and insight from various mechanisms, including but not limited to focus groups and customer surveys.
- Make recommendations based on customer insights.
- Manage and coordinate value-added service offerings.
- Review and amend value-added service offerings.
- Public Profiling
- Identify and realize relevant opportunities for exposure in the media in line with strategy and budget.
- Funder Communication
- Project manage the accurate and timeous delivery of the Integrated Annual Report.
- Ensure quarterly funders packs are collated, designed, and distributed timeously to the relevant Company funders.
- Maintain a database of funders and potential funders on LCMS.
- Marketing Material Delivery
- Identify, develop, and procure marketing materials aligned with the requirements defined in the business and marketing plans.
- Brief service providers to develop relevant marketing materials through drafting the requirements, communicating these to the service providers, and approving proof materials as required.
- Monitor materials design and amend in line with Company corporate identity and branding by reviewing, making amendments, and monitoring implementation by service providers.
- Monitor stock levels of marketing materials through tracking utilization of materials and counting stock levels.
- Order marketing materials stock through implementing the Company procurement procedure as required.
- Develop and procure new signs for buildings through developing the necessary signage requirements, briefing identified service providers, and approving signs before manufacture.
- Coordinate the installation of signs through liaising with the relevant loan officers and service providers to ensure signs are mounted.
- Update the content on the Company website through sourcing appropriate inputs and uploading these onto the site.
- Create and curate content for sharing on digital platforms such as social media and the quarterly Company newsletter.
- Project manage the collation, creation, design, and distribution of the quarterly Company newsletter.
- Monitor and improve Company's rankings for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google AdWords.
- Database Management
- Develop and launch database marketing plan.
- Understand and utilize the LCMS marketing database functionality optimally.
- Ensure database design and requirements are implemented for optimal database utilization.
- Manage that the database and other marketing software integration supports marketing plan delivery.
- Implement database marketing campaigns internally using the LCMS marketing functionality.
- Deliver database marketing plan targets within budget.
- Ensure all contact information on the database is kept up to date by flagging stale information with relevant department, e.g. outdated client contact information with Operations Team.
- Ensure all interaction with personal information is aligned with the company privacy policy and POPI regulations.
- Events Management
- Execute events outlined in the Marketing Plan.
- Support regional offices with the execution of local events in line with Company Brand.
- Define event specifications with Company managers through developing the key purpose, nature, and role of the function in line with Marketing Plan.
- Plan the event through sourcing the required venues, planning the required logistics, inviting the identified participants, implementing the corporate identity, and procuring the relevant services and products in line with the Company procurement requirements.
- Run the relevant events through coordinating the different components of the event to ensure that it is occurs in line with the defined plan.
- Monitor and manage the budget for events through tracking expenditure in line with the approved budget.
- Administration
- File relevant marketing documentation as required.
- Draft and submit marketing reports as required.

Requirements
- Degree in Marketing and Public Relations, or similar.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in corporate marketing environment.
- Experience in editing and proofreading of marketing material and press releases.
- Experience in materials design using relevant software.
- Must have own vehicle and driver's license.
