Project Scope:

As a Project Engineer with RMG Recruitment (Pty) Ltd, you will be responsible for managing projects related to the design, manufacturing, and installation of solvent recovery and recycling systems. These projects involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including design and engineering teams, procurement and logistics teams, and site teams and sub-contractors.

Your key objectives will be to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. To achieve this, you will need to have strong project management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of engineering projects.
  2. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop technical specifications and project documentation.
  3. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  4. Perform site assessments and work closely with site teams and sub-contractors to ensure successful project execution.


Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and exceptional organizational skills.
  4. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
