The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is recruiting a highly skilled Team Coordinator to join the Governance and Economic Reforms Department (ECGF) in their mission to promote economic growth and social progress across Africa.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP.

In this role, the Team Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Division Manager, including managing systems, creating and processing travel and expense reports, and devising and maintaining office systems for efficient document flow.

The Team Coordinator will also assist in compiling the portfolio database, performing data analysis, and ensuring regular updates on projects and key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data and contract entry in SAP, generate relevant information from SAP, and upload implementation progress reports (IPRs) and project completion reports.
  • Provide support for the Bank-wide Project Processing Schedule (BPPS).
  • Compile the portfolio database and perform data analysis as required.
  • Ensure regular updates on projects and key performance indicators.
  • Establish a database to track disbursements and ongoing projects.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on portfolio management.

Qualifications:

  • Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French.
  • Competence in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP.
  • Proven initiative and team spirit.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
  • Good knowledge of Administration and Office Support Services.
  • Ability to work effectively without constant supervision.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
