Job Summary- Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable team in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
- Verify invoices for accuracy, tax compliance and matching to purchase orders.
- Ensure correct expense allocation and management of AP ageing.
- Balance Accounts Payable ledger to the General Ledger.
- Resolve payment related queries and maintain organized recordkeeping.
- Reconcile travel advances and ensure correct cost allocation for SLAs.
- Perform month-end processes including re-allocations of expenses and accruals.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Accounting software.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of Input VAT and working experience in accounts payable/creditors is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and accuracy & attention to detail.
- Deadline oriented and comfortable interacting with internal clients at senior level and suppliers.
