Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at MANE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, from receiving and processing invoices to ensuring timely payments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, processing, and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of all invoices, payments, and credits.
  • Clearing Goods Received Suspense accounts and resolving any discrepancies within 3 months.
  • Maintaining historical records and ensuring accurate filing of documentation.
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports within supplier terms.
  • Continuing to improve the payment process and assisting with determining monthly cash flow.
  • Processing and allocating expenses to accounts and cost centres by analyzing invoice/expense reports/purchase orders.
  • Ensuring that all intercompany recharges are submitted and recovered promptly.
  • Verifying that GRN & AP control accounts agree with the general ledger monthly.
  • Capturing all supplier payments within the payment terms on the system.
  • Liaising daily with the Cashbook Clerk to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Post Matric Diploma/Qualification in Administration/Accounts Payable.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Accounts Payable functionality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Outlook).
  • Experience working on integrated ERPs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating across the business.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to operate under pressure.
