Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative - Durban Office will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the switchboard and direct calls to the relevant departments.
  • Receive and welcome visitors, contacting the relevant department for assistance as needed.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including receiving and dispatching parcels and envelopes.
  • Liaise with internal staff and departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of messages and information.
  • Maintain security by following established procedures and monitoring the logbook.
  • Assist with other tasks assigned by the Supervisor to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Administer stock supplies and maintain the reception area in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Create installation certificates and vehicle lists for clients as required.
Essential Skills

We require:

  • A matric certificate or equivalent qualification, coupled with a minimum of 1 year's working experience in a Reception environment.
  • An immaculately groomed appearance and a friendly, energetic personality.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • A passion for customer service and a professional attitude at all times.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to cope with a constantly changing and pressurised work environment.
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
