The successful candidate will be responsible for following established procedures and guidelines to perform a variety of simple, manual tasks of a production process. Under direct supervision, they will work under the guidance of experienced Operators/Leaders, performing basic operation of designated machines and production equipment such as blenders, sieves, spray dryer systems, batching systems, multi-purpose reactors, spinning cone column, bulk tanks, Roxane robots, packaging systems, ovens, mills, distillation columns (stills), encapsulation systems.
The key responsibilities of this role include collecting and loading intermediates or raw materials into production machines, understanding and following bill of materials and/or formula specifications, manufacturing product in a safe and timely manner, troubleshooting problems and providing assistance, assisting in performing in-process quality testing, and identifying deviations and documenting/communicating them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate designated machines and production equipment.
- Manage intermediates or raw materials.
- Follow bill of materials and/or formula specifications.
- Manufacture product safely and efficiently.
- Assist in quality testing.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric with Maths and Science.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift 25kg.
