We are seeking an experienced Environmental Waste Management Specialist to join our team at Stratogo. In this role, you will be responsible for the recovery and recycling of waste streams, including de-packaging and production.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will be working closely with our operations team to ensure that all recovery and recycling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the recovery and recycling of waste streams, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for reducing waste and increasing recycling rates.
- Maintain accurate records of waste generation, collection, and disposal.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on waste management best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in waste management or a related field.
- Degree in environmental science, waste management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
