VENCORP PLACEMENTS is seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Unit Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team. Your expertise will be essential in identifying, preventing, and managing risks to ensure patient safety. You will also facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment and provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions. Additionally, you will create a learning environment that builds staff competence and ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged. To be successful in this role, you must have a relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing / B Cur Degree) or equivalent NQF 7 qualification. You should also have relevant qualification (certificate/diploma) relating to Paediatric Intensive Care and registration with the South African Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a private hospital setting and 3-5 years experience in clinical leadership/management are required.
