Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

Pro-Match Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide expert financial assistance to the Financial Manager, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage in financial analysis, including historical financial information, forecasting, budgeting, cost reduction, and payroll activities.
  • Verify accuracy, approvals, and coding to the correct accounts.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and deal with accounts queries.
  • Process company credit cards and reconciliations, and review bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and maintain Xero, Dex, and Sage One.
  • Produce financial analysis for the CEO and Directors as required.
  • Maintain client accounts, including dormant matters, and assist with year-end accounts.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Xero, Dex, and Sage One.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience.
  • Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving knowledge.
  • Decision-making abilities.
  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Effective written communications capabilities.
Education:

Bachelor's degree (preferred).
