Job Title: Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at RecruiTech. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the processing of credit applications and implement strategies to meet sales performance targets.
  • Cost freight movements and prepare service estimates as required, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth, maintaining and updating client record information.
  • Provide quarterly results assessments of sales activities, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Acquire new business and continue to expand among existing clients, opening business development dialogs with strategic customers.
  • Comply with the requirements of the quality management system, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Matric and 3 years of Sales and Marketing related qualification at NQF Level 5.
  • Must have a clearing and forwarding background with a solid 5-year sales track record within the industry.
  • Strong Consultative selling Skills, Strong communication skills, and Negotiation skills.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing principles, good knowledge of international trade principles, and understand Air and Sea freight forwarding practices and procedures.
  • Min 5 years of progressive sales executive experience and a demonstrated record of sales growth for 2 years in the clearing & forwarding industry.
  • Have knowledge of the local trading market, Inco terms, and understand tariff calculation concepts.
