About the Role
This is a full-time position based in our Cape Town office. As a Video Editor, you'll be responsible for:
  • Crafting engaging video content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Developing concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
  • Editing and refining video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant software.
  • Collaborating with our creative team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Delivering high-quality content on time, while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a social media or digital agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cap cut, and other relevant video editing software.
  • A strong understanding of social media video formats and best practices.
  • An excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling.
  • The ability to create engaging motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Solid understanding of audio editing and sound design.
  • Strong color correction and grading skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for social media and video content.
  • A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing your video editing skills.
