Ensure the professional general management and excellent performance of Capsicum Culinary Studio in terms of its facilities, staff, growth of the business, overall finances, and student service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement the national sales strategy and achieve Campus sales targets for CCS.
  2. Coordinate and manage the implementation of the Schools Marketing & sales strategy for the Campus to receive enquiries for the Campus.
  3. Coordinate and manage various events at the campus to generate exposure and enquiries for the campus.
  4. Maintain the sales process at the Campus.
  5. Manage enrolment database spreadsheet processes.
  6. Convert enquiries to sales through effective management.
  7. Accept and receipt Application Fees and Course Deposits.
  8. Train and motivate sales teams to achieve their sales targets.
  9. Identify opportunities for extra revenue and new business generation.

EFFECTIVE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:

  1. Maintain financial policies and processes within the campus.
  2. Manage the Campus as profitably as possible.
  3. Manage financial targets for the Campus.
  4. Report on any variances from the financials on a monthly basis.
  5. Manage income and expenditure on a monthly basis.
  6. Budget control.
  7. Petty Cash Control and Banking as per process.
  8. Credit Card Control.
  9. Manage all Campus costs.
  10. Ensure effective debtors management and bad debt collection.
  11. Ingredients orders according to budget allocation.
  12. City & Guilds Exam registration.
  13. Assets management and control.

FACILITIES AND SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION:

  1. Maintain facilities that are neat and meet Health and Safety Regulations.
  2. Meet and negotiate with external suppliers and industry partners.
  3. Comply with accrediting bodies and maintain a high standard of quality and excellence.
  4. Quality control with lesson plans and evaluations.
  5. Adhere to the Academic Calendar and study schedules as provided by the Academic Department.
  6. Update POEs and POAs as per schedules in accordance to the City & Guilds Centre and QCTO Guide.
  7. Manage and monitor all audits.
  8. Evaluate Lecturers to improve the quality of education rendered.
  9. Manage and monitor Learner Master Spreadsheets.
  10. Ensure Campus staff, students, and equipment comply with Health and Safety regulations.
  11. Manage and monitor the industry placement handbook for industry placements.
  12. Comply with monthly stock control procedures (equipment and ingredients).
  13. Ensure cancellation processes are being followed to minimize risks to the company.

MANAGEMENT OF CAMPUS STAFF:

  1. Review and update staff's goal setting on a regular basis.
  2. Conduct monthly performance coaching.
  3. Identify training needs and address them.
  4. Monitor staff performance against goal setting.
  5. Create a working environment that promotes high levels of performance and addresses under-performance.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY INITIATIVES:

  1. Encourage Campus staff and students to participate in community projects and CSI initiatives.
  2. Participate in Capsicum wellness initiatives on a monthly basis.

IMPLEMENT CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT STRATEGY AT THE CAMPUS:

  1. Drive a customer-centric atmosphere at the campus with both staff, students, parents, industry, and suppliers.
  2. Receive customer feedback through various interactions.
  3. Act quickly to any student complaints.
  4. Create an active student life experience for students on campus.
