Job Description

This position involves providing coaching and roadshows to promote the usage of Santam Digital assets. Additionally, the candidate will monitor the quality of work produced by the team and provide leadership/coaching where necessary to encourage learning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coaching and training to promote the use of Santam Digital assets.
  2. Monitoring and improving the quality of work produced by the team.
  3. Managing workflow and ensuring efficient operations.
  4. Delivering high-quality customer experiences in line with standard operating procedures and service level agreements.
  5. Evolving existing systems and processes to meet changing business needs.
  6. Planning and organizing daily operations, processes, and team outputs.
  7. Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and influencing their actions.
  8. Overseeing intermediaries' activities on Santam platforms and securing buy-in.
  9. Addressing staff issues and optimizing resource allocation.
  10. Communicating effectively in English and Afrikaans.
  11. Working under pressure and maintaining resilience despite setbacks.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Proven experience managing teams and developing leadership skills.
  2. Familiarity with Santam systems, preferably including Broker Portal and SBS systems.
  3. Grade 12 (Matric Certificate) qualifications or equivalent.
  4. Proficient in process enhancements, with certification or equivalent.
  5. Higher Certificate in Insurance or equivalent.
  6. Full Regulatory Examinations qualification.
  7. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  8. Thorough knowledge of Santam Commercial, Personal, and Santam AGRI products.
  9. Demonstrated driver's license.
