Job Title: Human Resources Manager
About the Role:
Batho Pele Top Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that all positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees and departing staff members
- Draft and administer letters of appointment, promotions, and other administrative documents as required
- Champion employee wellness initiatives, promoting a healthy and productive work environment
- Conduct induction and policy workshops, educating employees on company policies and procedures
- Administer and educate employees on benefits and benefits structures, ensuring that they understand their entitlements and obligations
- Administer the performance management process, providing guidance and support to employees to improve their performance
- Provide input on policy development and documentation, ensuring that all HR-related policies are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Consultation, compilation, and submission of Employment Equity Plans and reports, ensuring that we meet our legislative obligations
- Maintenance and administration of the leave module, ensuring that all leave requests are processed efficiently and effectively
- General HR reporting, including collation and reporting of statistics on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assisting and consulting with employees on employment matters, including IR and HR-related queries
- Accountability for HR projects and research, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proven track record of success in recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance
