We are a renowned and established manufacturing company specializing in shop fittings and fixtures with over 30 years of industry experience, with operations spanning various regions worldwide. Our objective is to find an experienced, highly skilled, and technically competent leader who will complement our manufacturing operations in South Africa.

This role requires an individual with extensive experience who will be able to increase the operational performance of the company. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of operational and financial activities that are aligned to meet the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead the operations to ensure it delivers high-quality solutions in line with business needs.
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Head up the manufacturing, supply chain, technical, health and safety, projects, planning and procurement departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Engineering-related qualification advantageous.
  • No less than 8-10 years related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience at a senior level in a similar position.
  • Manufacturing industry knowledge advantageous.
  • Experience in design for customer-specific product applications and product development.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
  • Understanding of diverse business functions.
  • Experience in leading projects.
  • Understanding of corporate governance and general management best practices.
  • Syspro experience advantageous.
  • Ability to motivate staff and foster positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
