The Bookkeeping and Debt Management Professional will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing debtors' statements, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Matric (Grade 12): A necessary qualification for this position.
  2. Pastel knowledge essential: Proficiency in Pastel is required for this role.
  3. Previous hotels experience would be an advantage, preferably in a similar position: Previous experience in a hotel setting, especially in a similar role, is desirable.
  4. Opera and F&B point of sale knowledge essential: Knowledge of Opera and F&B point of sale systems is crucial for this position.
  5. Excellent communication skills, verbal & written: Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with colleagues and guests.
  6. Fully literate and numerate (able to perform relative calculations, statistics and interpret basic accounts and financial statements/reports/invoices): The ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret financial data is necessary for this role.
  7. Must have basic bookkeeping skills to compile accounting control reports and management reports: Basic bookkeeping skills are required to maintain accurate financial records.
  8. Must be computer literate and able to input and extract relevant data from computerized formats: Proficiency in computer applications and ability to extract data are essential for this position.
  9. Language: English for the purposes of communicating with GUESTS and management: English language proficiency is necessary for effective communication with guests and management.
