Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12): A necessary qualification for this position.
- Pastel knowledge essential: Proficiency in Pastel is required for this role.
- Previous hotels experience would be an advantage, preferably in a similar position: Previous experience in a hotel setting, especially in a similar role, is desirable.
- Opera and F&B point of sale knowledge essential: Knowledge of Opera and F&B point of sale systems is crucial for this position.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written: Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with colleagues and guests.
- Fully literate and numerate (able to perform relative calculations, statistics and interpret basic accounts and financial statements/reports/invoices): The ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret financial data is necessary for this role.
- Must have basic bookkeeping skills to compile accounting control reports and management reports: Basic bookkeeping skills are required to maintain accurate financial records.
- Must be computer literate and able to input and extract relevant data from computerized formats: Proficiency in computer applications and ability to extract data are essential for this position.
- Language: English for the purposes of communicating with GUESTS and management: English language proficiency is necessary for effective communication with guests and management.
