Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or students in pharmacy programs to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by processing online orders, adjusting order points, and conducting on-hand counts.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace to meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Process written prescriptions efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize department operations.
  • Analyze service metrics and contribute to action plans to enhance performance.
  • Perform tasks related to pharmacy technician duties.
  • Welcome patients warmly at all entry points and provide exceptional care by engaging, respecting, and meeting their needs.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers according to established procedures.
  • Contribute to the efficient dispensing of medication and durable medical equipment by following quality assurance policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 0-6 months of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • High school degree or equivalent and current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
  • Active in-state Pharmacy Intern License.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
