About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Email Automation Specialist to join our team at 2U. As a key member of our marketing automation team, you will be responsible for building and refining email automations, monitoring performance, and identifying technical solutions to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize email marketing automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SMFC).
  • Partner with stakeholder teams to drive portfolio-wide automation strategy, increasing email engagement and driving business value through ongoing testing and optimization.
  • Monitor and report on email performance and audience data.
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance of automated emails and configuration.
  • Manage automation documentation and training materials for the email team.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience developing and optimizing marketing automation strategies with a focus on measurement, optimization, and analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SFMC Certification a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals, working knowledge of Ampscript, SQL.
  • Knowledge of Python and other programming languages/analytics tools a plus.
  • Must be a team player, able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and a 'get-it-done' attitude.
  • Highly proactive, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Display incredible attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate conceptual thinking and foundational marketing skills.
  • Willingness to explore creative and innovative solutions.
