Quality Assurance Specialist

MECS Africa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain management systems in accordance with ISO 17020:2012 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Ensure that processes and procedures needed for the ISO 9001:2015 management systems are established, implemented, and maintained.
- Report to top management on the performance of the management systems and any need for improvement.
- Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all requirements relating to ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and certification.
- Maintain the link and all communication with SANAS and DNV.
- Plan, communicate, conduct scheduled internal audits.
- Implement actions (risk, improvements, and corrective actions) as per the outcome of internal audits.
- Evaluate, approve, and re-evaluate suppliers.
- Conduct new subcontractor audits as requested from the project team and management.
- Monitor and update the context of the organisation as per Top Management.
- Ensure that objectives per department are set, monitored, and reported on.
- Communicate with relevant parties and ensure that equipment are calibrated, load tested, and inspected as required.
- Conduct risk assessments, register risks, and mitigate risks identified.
- Maintain and update interested parties as required.
- Measure and act on customer satisfaction.
- Closely out customer complaints and raise internal NCRs as required.
- Review and ensure that corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Organise, compile, and present the management review meeting as per the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Ensure that actions from the management review meeting are closed out.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure that corrective actions from external audits are closed out.
- Control documents and records as required by the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, legal, and regulatory requirements as stipulated by company requirements.
- Matric.
- Knowledge of ISO 17020:2012 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Knowledge of DNV 2.7-1 and DNV 2.7-3 standards.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel.
