Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct month-end collections and achieve set targets.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of reconciliations to support the payment process.
  • Prepare and structure monthly invoices/statements to facilitate timely payments.
  • Perform credit vetting and provide recommendations on credit risk.
  • Maintain and update debtor records.
  • Address account queries, proof of deliveries (PODs), credits, etc., in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper filing of day-to-day documentation.
  • Accurately allocate payments from bank statements to respective accounts.
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone manners and communication skills.
  • Possess effective collection skills and the ability to negotiate payment arrangements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma in Credit Management 1, 2, 3, or 4, or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Credit Control/Debtors, with competencies in reconciliations, problem-solving, accuracy, computer literacy, and excellent telephone manner.
