Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Director to manage our technical staff, comprised of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled technicians and laborers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service management, industry standards, compliance requirements, best practices, cost management, and performance analysis.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering scheduled maintenance works and responding to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • They will also manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out within budget constraints.
  • A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, implementing proactive risk management plans, and assisting in developing long-term contingency plans.
  • The Maintenance Operations Director will negotiate contracts with new vendors and suppliers, provide incident reports and root cause analysis of technical faults, and effectively schedule the work of others to complete operations, programs, or activities.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure good hygiene standards are maintained and report any defective materials in a timely manner to avoid disruption to services.
