Position Overview: Curiska (Pty) Ltd is looking for a dedicated Sales Engineer to oversee a diverse client portfolio, foster enduring relationships, and achieve sales objectives. This position demands extensive technical expertise regarding our offerings and the ability to engage clients effectively to enhance satisfaction and drive sales success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients through consistent and proactive communication.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Assess client requirements, execute sales strategies, and recommend suitable products or services to fulfill those needs.
  • Technical Knowledge Application: Develop and utilize comprehensive knowledge of our products to meet client demands and streamline the sales process.
  • Post-Sales Assistance: Provide ongoing support after the sale to ensure client retention and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Performance Reporting: Deliver regular reports on account performance and progress towards sales goals.
  • Collaborative Strategy Development: Partner with the Regional/Area Manager to devise customized sales approaches for significant clients.
  • Product Awareness: Present and advocate for new products and services to current clients.
  • Field Operations: Oversee pump commissioning, conduct site assessments, ensure pump reliability, and expand client bases as necessary.
  • Client Feedback Utilization: Collect and analyze client data to refine sales tactics and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Completion of Matric and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years in a comparable position with a focus on pump technology.
