We're currently looking for a highly skilled Key Account Manager - Advertising to join our Cape Town-based team. This role will play a critical part in driving strategic objectives through effective advertising proposals and campaign execution.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Serving as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, clients, and the Takealot Advertising team
  • Creating and presenting advertising proposals to drive strategic objectives
  • Generating campaign cost estimates (CEs) and overseeing the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Developing and delivering regular performance reports, analyzing data trends, and providing actionable insights to clients for informed decision-making

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, or Media; or 6+ years' experience in a digital/account management role with a strong background in marketing/advertising
  • Minimum 5 years of Advertising Account Management experience or 3 years Digital Account Management experience
  • Experience in advertising and media sales, with a solid understanding of the digital advertising landscape
