In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, operations teams, and external partners. You will be responsible for conducting regular risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for change. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and reports related to risk management and compliance, and liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, promote a culture of compliance, and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for change.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to risk management and compliance.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure effective implementation of risk management policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a large logistics company.
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or environmental science.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
