Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Specialist to join our team at SPARK Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Physical Education Programs

The Physical Education Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing a range of physical education programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students. This will include developing lesson plans, selecting equipment and resources, and leading classes and activities.

Supervise and Mentor Students

The Physical Education Specialist will be responsible for supervising and mentoring students during physical education classes, providing guidance and support to help them develop their physical skills and confidence.

Collaborate with Teachers and Staff

The Physical Education Specialist will work closely with teachers and staff to ensure that physical education is integrated into the broader curriculum and that students are able to apply their physical skills in a range of contexts.

Monitor and Evaluate Progress

The Physical Education Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the progress of students in physical education, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.

Develop and Maintain Equipment and Resources

The Physical Education Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining a range of equipment and resources to support physical education, including sports equipment, facilities, and technology.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant field, such as physical education, sports science, or a related field.

Experience

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a physical education role, preferably in a school setting.

Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
