Job Title: Programme Manager

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our 6-month contract project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating discussions with business stakeholders, investigating potential solutions, and creating a business case for project approval.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scope project benefits and facilitate discussion with relevant business stakeholders.
  • Investigate and explore potential solutions to meet business needs.
  • Create a comprehensive business case, including costs and benefits, for project approval.
  • Engage with vendors to obtain input for the project plan.
  • Allocate and secure resources for project delivery.
  • Develop target operating models (TOMs) in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the business unit (BU) business strategy.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the company's business environment and context.
  • Organize the team into relevant delivery streams.
  • Analyze requirements and produce accordingly.
  • Develop the proposed solution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training for end-users on the program.
  • Ensure adequate change management through communication and training.
  • Map out business processes required for the program.
  • Ensure testing of solutions takes place.
  • Ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual with a focus on continued delivery.
  • Provide management information tracking, status reporting, and accurate administration.
  • Drive financial business cases for comprehensive cost management.
  • Identify, manage, and respond to risks and issues.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Identify areas of concern and use influence to debate and agree on the best way forward.
  • Act speedily to resolve problems, queries, and complaints.
  • Use influence and negotiation to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Initiate meetings with stakeholders to track progress and manage expectations.
  • Proactively communicate and share information, encouraging discussion and debate.
  • Read the cultural environment and adapt communication style to meet the needs of different audiences.
  • Anticipate and manage conflict, demonstrating an ability to resolve differences.
  • Ensure relevant capabilities and capacity are available for project delivery.
