As a Senior Programme Manager at Plus1X Solutions (Pty) Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing complex programmes from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of programme management in the financial sector, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving organisational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and timelines, and develop comprehensive project plans to guide the execution process.
  • Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to meet project requirements and milestones.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively, implementing contingency plans as needed to keep programmes on track.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Track and report on programme performance metrics, evaluating progress against goals and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise programme management processes and enhance organisational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to programme management, and incorporate insights into project strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum [X] years) in programme management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
