About the Job:

We're searching for a skilled Labour Relations Specialist to join our team at Career-seekers Recruitment Solutions. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying contraventions, and promoting healthy industrial relations among establishments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect establishments to ensure compliance with collective agreements.
  2. Identify and advise on contraventions, assisting in their correction.
  3. Enhance communication among establishments, promoting positive industrial relations.
  4. Educate members on collective agreements, increasing awareness within assigned areas.
  5. Enforce collective agreements through legal processes.
  6. Schedule and manage appointments with establishments in designated zones.
  7. Promote company benefits and services to members and during inspections.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Labor relations qualification is required.
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in the Automotive industry.
  • Motor industry expertise will be beneficial.
  • 2+ years labor relations experience is necessary.
  • Bargaining Council Agreement knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities are crucial.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills are vital.
  • Effective relationship-building skills are necessary.
  • Correspondence handling and report writing skills are required.
  • Administration and organization skills are necessary.
  • English communication and computer literacy are must-haves.
  • Valid driver's license and 2 years driving experience are required.
  • Agents Examination certification will be an asset.
  • Technical knowledge in motor engineering and/or motor vehicle repairs will be beneficial.
