We are looking for a skilled Logistics Team Member to join our team at Interstate All Battery Center. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse and distribution centers.

Job Duties:

As a Logistics Team Member, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing receiving, transfer, pick, pack, and ship transactions using RF barcode scanning devices and other shipping applications.
  • Handling all product according to warehouse standards, including receiving, transfer, pick, pack, and ship.
  • Reconditioning and refurbishing used batteries to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Wrapping and tagging pallets for transfer, pick, pack, and ship.
  • Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Following all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Performing general warehousing duties, such as restocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Interacting professionally with all stakeholders, including team members, managers, and customers.
  • Performing other warehouse duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers and serving as backup for non-CDL delivery drivers.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Able to read, write, and compute basic math.
  • Minimum one year experience in warehouse operations, including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack, and stretch-wrap machine.
  • Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and quickly transition from one function/task to another.
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills and can prioritize tasks.
  • Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO FREQUENTLY LIFT AND/OR MOVE UP TO 75 POUNDS.
  • Depending on location, must have and maintain a valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. DOT medical card may be required.
