Main Responsibilities:
  • Instrument Installation: Install and commission Mintek equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Examine electrical problems, identify source of issues, and determine method for repair using electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that Mintek's quality and safety standards are upheld, adhering to prescribed safety protocols in the workplace.
  • Collaboration and Improvement: Work collaboratively with others, recommending improved work practices and procedures affecting workmanship and safety matters.
Key Requirements:
  1. National Diploma.
  2. Completed apprenticeship/work integrated learning.
  3. Driver's Licence (Code EB) within 6 months of appointment (condition of appointment).
  4. Experience in PB Board testing and setup, troubleshooting.
  5. Assembly and onsite commissioning of online analysis equipment (experience with Mintek Cynoprobe, C2 Meter highly advantageous).
