Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer delivery by managing the production process, supervising preparation and loading of finished products, and tracking shipments.
  • Ensure adequate production line supplies by managing inventory, supervising the unloading of pieces, and measuring supplier performance.
  • Implement logistics basics, including booking operations, traceability, labeling, and container management.
  • Monitor and maintain a visual management system to ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and physical alert systems are in place.
  • Organize equipment and human resources to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Ensure daily team management by managing headcount, enforcing standardized work methods, and being present on the shop floor to address questions and problems.
  • Develop the team by ensuring proper staffing, integrating new team members, and fostering individual development plans.
  • Look for productivity gains and implement improvements.
  • Manage, train, and coach logistics operators to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Drive actions for improvement by collaborating with other teams and functions to ensure a transparent information flow.
  • Manage team performance by identifying areas for improvement, driving teamwork, and leading problem-solving groups.
  • Ensure that working conditions are fully compliant with Group HSE standards.

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent degree.
  • 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Good technical product and process knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience with LEAN Manufacturing systems.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Learning agility and adaptability.
  • Operational level English.
