The Role

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients. You will also be responsible for generating new business by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and provide relevant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Generating new business through lead generation and prospecting
  • Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with existing portfolio of clients
  • Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets
  • Building the sales funnel and generating leads via cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation activities
  • Ensuring all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements
  • Handing over qualified leads to the sales teams with the objective of closing the sale

Ideal Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the Industrial Automation or related industry (provide references and targets)
  • Diploma or N+ Course in Computer/ IT / Networking Marketing or IT Engineering and Communications, Information Management, or similar
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Fast learner
  • Motivated and positive attitude with a passion for sales
