Job Summary

The Advanced Service Engineer (ASE) organization in CSS is a global team of highly skilled technical engineers. The ASE establishes long-term trusted relationships with Oracle's key customers, helping them to maximize their Oracle Cloud and on-premise investment, innovate faster, and accelerate their business success with solutions for all cloud environments and Artificial Intelligence solutions.

We are looking for a Lead Cloud Architect with Artificial Intelligence experience who will be responsible for design, build, and manage best-in-class solutions for our CSS customers:
  1. Establishes trusted relationships with customers
  2. Is familiar with Oracle Cloud and AI products and solutions
  3. Assesses and analyzes customer needs to capture business and industry requirements; translates them into technical architectures aligned with Oracle's best practices
  4. Leverages technical governance and guidance to lead CSS's highly experienced delivery teams
  5. Resolves complex problems
  6. BUILDS relationships with team members, other Oracle teams, and customers at different levels of the reporting line up to CIO or equivalent business owner
  7. Is the main contact for new business opportunities, supporting our CSS Services Solutioning team
  8. Assists with scope and Loe definition, providing technical guidance
  9. DRIVES innovation by incubating new practices and solutions, including a structured approach to adapt them
  10. Stays up-to-date on market awareness around existing and emerging technologies
  11. Applies industry and Oracle best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen
  12. Ensures that customers achieve beneficial solutions regarding cost effectiveness, quality, and manageability
  13. Provides technical guidance on Oracle Cloud and AI solutions to customers and Oracle internal
  14. Ensures successful handover from implementation toward operations, ensuring the implemented solution fits customer requirements
  15. Maintains the Oracle Solution to meet customer demands
  16. DRIVES personal development in Oracle Cloud and AI technologies
  17. Collaborates with different CSS teams to ensure implementation and operation of mission-critical environments

Requirements:

  1. Minimum five years of experience as a senior architect delivering cloud and AI solutions
  2. Proficiency in English, written and spoken
  3. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the customer organization
  4. A willingness to learn new cloud and AI technologies
  5. A customer-first attitude
  6. A team player who makes their team stronger
  7. Technical leadership from sales to delivery for large and complex cloud and AI solutions
  8. A positive, creative, agile, and innovative attitude around design and delivery of solutions
  9. Ability to analyze and document complex issues and provide recommendations
  10. A positive influencer who motivates others toward success

Preferred Technical Skills:

  1. Good knowledge of Oracle Cloud solutions (OCI, IaaS, PaaS, Networks)
  2. Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including Application AI features for different industries, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Common AI use cases, AI services and technologies (Digital assistant, NLP, Speech, Anomaly detection), and Generative AI incl. Cohere
  3. Good knowledge of Applications/SaaS, Databases, and Middleware/PaaS services
  4. Good technical knowledge of relevant open-source cloud technologies
  5. Strong understanding of cloud security
  6. Knowledge of Cloud native design solutions
  7. Strong automation process and technology experience (DevOps, GitOps)
