Job Title: AI Business Analyst

As an AI Business Analyst at Nedbank, you will play a pivotal role in integrating artificial intelligence solutions to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of business analysts. This position aims to leverage AI technologies to automate routine tasks, provide data-driven insights, and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AI Integration: Identify and integrate AI solutions that can augment the capabilities of business analysts, improving their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Automation: Develop and implement AI-driven automation for routine tasks to free up business analysts to concentrate on strategic and analytical functions.
  • Data Analytics & Insights: Utilize AI to derive actionable insights from data, facilitating informed decision-making processes within the bank.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and prioritize areas where AI can bring about significant performance enhancements.
  • Best Practices: Promote and embed AI best practices across the business analysis community to ensure consistency and high standards.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and resources to business analysts on AI tools and methodologies to ensure they are well-equipped to leverage these technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the impact of AI initiatives on business analysis performance and iterate to drive continuous improvement.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of innovation in business analysis.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or R, and experience with AI and machine learning frameworks.
  • 3+ years solid AI experience.
Technical / Professional Knowledge:
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify business needs, and develop innovative AI solutions.
  • Experience: Prior experience in AI development, data analysis, and business analysis, preferably in a financial or banking context.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within agile teams and across various business areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies and methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
