We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Director to join our team at Telebest.

About the Role

The Business Operations Director will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes overseeing stock management, supplier relationships, budgeting, sales reports, customer service, people management, finance administration, and compliance with company systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Supplier Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms that benefit the business.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor sales and expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth through effective customer engagement, relationship building, and sales strategies.
  • People Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Finance Administration: Manage the financial administration function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including finance, marketing, and sales.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement changes.
