At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Schemes Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of English and Afrikaans and experience in financial services, medical schemes, or a related administrative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Interaction & Administration:
  • Regular interaction with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure effective delivery of administrative requirements within a specified framework.
  • Ensure client documentation is in compliance with FICA & FAIS legislation.
  • Attend to client complaints and enquiries in consultation with the Specialist Health Care Advisor.
  • Record client interaction and update client records upon completion of interaction.
  • Written communication/confirmation to clients or service providers.
People & Operational Support:
  • Efficient operation of answering all incoming calls promptly and politely; assessing callers requirements; transferring calls; taking messages; delivering messages to the relevant staff member timeously.
  • Communicate with a variety of individuals on all levels.
  • Work effectively in a team and as an individual.
  • Deal with correspondence, complaints, and queries.
  • Encourage a healthy and productive work environment and monitor office safety.
