We are working with a young, innovative Lloyd's Underwriting Syndicate seeking a Regional Property Trading Underwriter in Manchester city centre. This proactive insurer has achieved excellent results and needs an additional underwriter to support its growth.

You will have autonomy and authority to develop and retain business opportunities. The team is small, making it an ideal time to join and progress within the company as it grows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for new business and renewal underwriting of risks within the team's appetite. They will also liaise and build relationships with brokers on a regional and national basis.

Key responsibilities include supporting the Head of UK and European Property with portfolio KPI analysis and communicating underwriting decisions clearly.

This is a unique underwriting opportunity offering an attractive basic salary dependent on experience between £30k to £55k, along with a non-contributory pension of 12%, private medical cover, bonus, DIS, and other staff benefits.
