**COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITER - SHORT-TERM INSURANCE**

A well-established short-term Insurance Brokerage in **Somerset West** is looking to recruit a Commercial Underwriter.
- Std 10/Grade 12, NQF level 4 accreditation including RE5 certificate
- Up-to date CPD points
- Minimum 5 years short term commercial and personal underwriting experience
- Computer skills (all MS office packages, especially excel)
- Time management skills (planning and organising)
- Excellent admin skills, accuracy and detail orientated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Service existing portfolio of commercial, personal and marine clients
- Ensure compliance with the company underwriting guidelines
- Negotiate terms with underwriters on renewals, quotes and on new business
- Underwrite and accept risks from existing and prospective clients and issuing thereof
- Assisting with adhoc administration as requested by management

Salary commensurate with experience.

The employment package includes a Medical Aid contribution.
