Job Purpose

Fiera Milano Exhibitions Africa requires an accomplished Administration, Finance and Controlling Manager to contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the company's financial strategy, managing finances, and analyzing profitability.
  • Manage internal finance controls, ensuring debtors and creditors payments are adhered to in terms of contracts.
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly reporting packages on an IAS/IFRS basis for consolidated financial statements process.
  • Discuss results for each show with the CEO, holding meetings and updates on the financial performance of each show during and after the shows.
  • Fortnightly monitoring of trend sales report revenues, Exhibitors' numbers, revenues collected, and sales opportunities.
  • Review VAT monthly, reconcile the Control Account, and prepare Revenue — VAT Reasonability; review the e-filing submission by the accountant.
  • Review Annual Taxation Calculations and Statutory Submissions prepared by the Auditors, ensuring all Statutory Submissions are up to date and submitted on time for all entities.
  • Act as Custodian of the Payroll, reviewing the monthly commission schedule and salary payments for accuracy prior to release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
