Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accreditation Specialist to join our team at HR-Simplified (Pty) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional planning, coordination, and accreditation application development of programmes and initiatives that are internationally recognised and accredited with industry bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement assessment, accreditation, and academic program review activities to support continual accreditation of KVR Training.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data related to selected qualifications, curriculum standards, enrolment requirements, and other academic activities for the purposes of accreditation, academic program reviews, self-studies, decision-making, and other related activities.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for internal and external constituencies as it relates to KVR Training specific data; directly liaise with accrediting bodies and compile reports and information for dissemination to the Industry Body administrators and core offices.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate methods for collecting and analyzing data; collaborate with technical personnel and/or directly manage technical platforms for collecting, maintaining, and reporting data.
  • Provide technical and professional guidance, consultation, and support to faculty, staff, ETQA administrators, and other related personnel as it pertains to KVR Training's progress toward accreditation, collection of data, and other related activities.
  • Interpret assessment findings; analyze and compile comprehensive statistical and narrative data; assist with the preparation of official assessment reports to summarize findings.
  • Plan, develop, and implement various special projects as assigned; plan, coordinate, promote, and facilitate special events, programs, and/or activities.
  • Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to the industry, market needs, technology, equipment, and/or systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent or, National Diploma or Certificate: Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed programme from an accredited institution (CIPS, ASCM) that is above the minimum education requirement would be beneficial.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of assessment methodologies, practices, and principles.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement management principles and practices.
  • Advanced research, analytical, critical thinking, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare and present reports effectively.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training materials to faculty and staff within area of professional specialty.
  • Database management skills.
