Overview

Oxyon Human Capital Solutions is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the end-to-end management of equipment builds and lead field service teams. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage both production and service teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee equipment build projects from inception to completion.
  • Timely Delivery: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and service personnel.
  • Field Service & Aftermarket Support: Oversee field service teams responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of equipment in the field.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and alignment on project objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in managing equipment builds and overseeing field service teams.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Desirable:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for project tracking and resource planning.

Work Environment & Travel:

  • This role will be a combination of office-based project management and on-site supervision of field service activities. Travel to manufacturing facilities, client sites, and operational field locations will be required as part of the job.
