About the Role

Level-Up is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to lead our payroll function. This key role requires strong leadership, expertise in SAGE300, ERS, and VIP, and the ability to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • We are looking for someone to oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process using SAGE300 and VIP, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
  • The ideal candidate will supervise and lead the payroll team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation, including tax and benefits regulations, while staying updated on any changes in laws or procedures.
  • Collaboration with HR, Operations, and Finance teams is crucial to maintain accurate employee records, process payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits.
  • We require someone to work closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration of payroll systems with other business processes.
  • Managing payroll-related queries from employees and resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner is essential.
  • You will continuously review payroll processes for efficiency, suggesting and implementing improvements to reduce errors and optimize workflows.
  • Accurate payroll reports generation and support for internal and external audits as required are also important duties.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and security of payroll data is a must.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field is necessary.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 3 years using SAGE300 and VIP systems, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll best practices, tax laws, and employment regulations is essential.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a payroll team to ensure high performance and efficiency is a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion are necessary.
  • Experience in the supply chain or consulting industry is a plus.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
