Operational Excellence

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the forecourt, ensuring a smooth and efficient service delivery to customers. This includes managing the service areas, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Manage daily banking, cash-ups, and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Supervise the receipt and processing of fuel stock, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to supply.
  • Ensure all forecourt equipment is regularly maintained and operational, with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and report on fuel readings, discrepancies, and other operational issues to management.
Leadership and Teamwork

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve operational excellence. They will be responsible for organizing and managing staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, productivity, and morale.
  • Provide coaching and training to staff to improve their skills and knowledge, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Assist in evaluating and appraising staff performance, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate open communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will possess a matriculation certificate (Grade 12) and a valid driver's license. They will have at least 3-4 years of experience in a fuel station environment, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar setting.

  • Strong knowledge of fuel operations, best practices, and safety standards.
  • Computer literacy with experience using BB Soft and MS Dynamics (advantageous).
