  2. Inventory and Warehouse Management: Manage and monitor inventory levels, including bread returns, crates, and other warehouse products.
  3. Site Expenditure and Budgeting: Manage site expenditure, including ordering of promotional items, consumables, fuel, and overtime.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly site performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all depot SOPs and company policies.
  6. Staff Development and Coaching: Develop staff coaching and succession plans to ensure the growth and development of depot staff.
  7. Customer Service and Relationship Management: Ensure excellent customer service delivery through building and maintaining stakeholder relations in all channels.
  8. Supplier and Customer Management: Manage relationships with Top End Grocers (TEG) customers and suppliers of products, as well as Local & Traditional (L&T) customers.
  9. Discipline and Compliance: Instill and manage discipline of the depot, ensuring consistent compliance with company policies and values.
  10. Coaching and Mentoring: Act as a coach and mentor to depot staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  11. Route Development and Stock Management: Assist sales teams to open new routes to the market and ensure efficient stock management systems are in place.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in a bread warehouse or depot management, with transport management experience being an advantage.
  2. Competencies: Business policies, processes, and procedures; industry knowledge (FMCG); product/portfolio knowledge; attention to detail; communication; conflict handling and leadership; organizing and planning; analytical skills; IT and financial literacy; and IR and HR knowledge (advantage).
  3. Qualifications: National Diploma in Business Administration or Transport Management Logistics or equivalent, with SAP or Sage accounting system being preferred but not a must.
