Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Oversight:
    • Review and manage contracts to ensure adherence to DOA guidelines.
    • Coordinate Deeds of Ratification (DOR) to guarantee contractual obligations are met.
    • Monitor contract expirations and lead the renewal process to prevent service interruptions.
  • Conflicts of Interest:
    • IDentify potential conflicts of interest within procurement activities.
    • Implement strategies to mitigate identified conflicts and promote transparency.
  • System Integration:
    • Align procurement systems with organizational processes.
    • Address system issues promptly to maintain uninterrupted operations.
    • Monitor systems to ensure all risks are effectively mitigated.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Present reports to the Procurement Management Committee (Manco).
    • Analyze procurement data using Power BI to inform strategic decisions.
    • Manage BEE reporting and oversee spend management to meet compliance demands.
  • Procedures and Processes:
    • Develop and maintain SOPs to standardize procurement procedures.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Resolve system issues related to Oracle, TIA, RST, and other relevant systems to minimize disruptions.
  • Requirements and Documentation:
    • Support the creation of Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
  • Expertise and Collaboration:
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) between Procurement and IT to ensure system integration.

Requirements:

This role requires a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, accompanied by proven experience in procurement or supply chain management. Proficiency in Oracle, strong analytical skills, and experience with Power BI are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, are highly valued.
