We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Practice Manager.
This role will involve implementing and driving divisional pharmacy objectives, contributing to an improved financial outcome and greater customer affiliation to the brand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing divisional business opportunities to gain market differentiation, resulting in sales and profit growth through continuous competitor analysis.
The role also involves assuming accountability for pharmacy license applications, follow-up and approval, acquisitions of independent pharmacies or groups of pharmacies, and recording and tracking of new dispensary openings and closures.
The Pharmacy Practice Manager will assume accountability with operations for the implementation of the people strategy, ensuring ongoing pharmacy and professional development, building capacity and capability to meet current and future business developments in line with the Brands Talent and Transformation agenda.
In addition, the successful candidate will support and deliver the division's retention strategy to improve the retention of pharmacy staff and ensure continuous and sustained business performance.
The role requires maintaining external relationships with pharmacy schools to support the pharmacist pipeline in line with the company's healthcare strategy.
The Pharmacy Practice Manager must ensure ethical and legal compliance with good pharmacy practice and the SAPC, and all other governing bodies (MCC, DOH and CMS) with specific focus on pharmaceutical incidents. This includes the implementation of new legislation as set out by the South African Pharmacy Council from time to time.
About YouTo be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the health and pharmaceutical industry laws, regulatory environment and ethics.
You will also require knowledge and application of financial management principles, retail management principles and practices, and knowledge of regulations regarding licence applications and acquisition of businesses.
