Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Yard Supervisor to join our team at The Building Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers entering the yard are attended to efficiently and in accordance with our company's customer service principles and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document all stock items, including offloading materials and goods received verification
  • Maintain safety procedures and ensure customer service standards are met
  • Manage stock rotation, loss control, and housekeeping/health and safety
  • Check forklifts and physically check stock to ensure accuracy
  • Report any discrepancies and uphold company values and culture
Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification
  • 3 years of relevant experience in building materials
  • Building materials product knowledge
  • Recommended qualifications: forklift/driver's license, multilingual, health and safety training, and relevant system/product knowledge
